Terms of service.

1. Acceptance.

By accessing or using aiessaydetector.ai (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Acceptable use.

You agree not to (a) use the Service to circumvent academic-integrity policies of any institution, (b) submit text you don't have the right to submit, (c) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying models, (d) use the humanizer to misrepresent AI-generated work as human-written in a graded or compensated context, (e) scrape or mass-automate the Service outside of our published API limits, (f) use the Service to produce content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful.

3. Accounts.

Account-based access requires a valid email and accurate profile information. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at security@aiessaydetector.ai of any unauthorized use.

4. Payment and cancellation.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refunds on partial periods. First-time paid subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days.

5. Intellectual property.

We own the Service, the trained models, and the website content. You retain ownership of any text you submit; by submitting it, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of producing your requested result. We will not use it for training (see Privacy).

6. Warranties and disclaimers.

The Service is provided "as is." We make no representation that any detection result is 100% accurate. No commercial AI detector is. Results should be treated as evidence requiring corroboration, not as a verdict.

Specifically, we disclaim any warranty that (a) the Service will correctly classify every submission, (b) detection results will withstand academic-integrity adjudication without corroborating evidence, (c) the Service will be uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

8. Termination.

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms or acceptable-use policy. You may terminate your account at any time via the account settings page.

9. Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Delaware, subject to any applicable EU/UK consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived.

10. Changes.

Material changes are notified via email to account holders at least 30 days before taking effect.
